Deacon Larry and his wife Jude, have been involved at St. Patrick’s Church since 1966 and now at Sacred Heart – St. Patrick.  Deacon Larry was ordained a permanent Deacon in 1987, with his first assignment at Newman Parish in Eau Claire.  Some of the duties of a Deacon are to, proclaim the gospel, preach, preside at funerals, marriages, and baptisms outside of Mass, meet with couples to administer marriage preparation, assist in processing annulments, and para-professional counseling.  He also oversees the RCIA process at the parish.  Deacon Larry’s hobbies include cars, amateur radio operator, and working with computers.
